Aligning software and unpredictable agency operations
Here's how we can align software with agency operations
For our clients, we focus on identifying the businesschallenges they face - which are also closely linked to their brand. That's whywe don't have a simple job, because every client is unique and we can't"box" in the classic sense the graphic design, website needs, creative copywriting and other marketing activities that they bring to us.
For us, any software that provides both open source andcloud connectivity is a great help and a serious partner in this. This allowsus to constantly receive real-time data on who is making progress on the workallocated, how much and in what form. We can see exactly what the other personhas done, what they've worked on, how they've worked on it. All this in realtime, even simultaneously in a virtual workspace.
Our stated objective is that when a new employee comes toour agency, he or she should have easily implementable knowledge of how to usethe programmes. So we try to put "simple and great" programs side byside rather than a CRM with complex knowledge but which, in our experience, isnot yet able to adapt to the above mentioned requirements.
We prefer software where our hands are not tied and we canwork in more than one way. When choosing software, we aim, for example, to beable to modify the tasks in different ways, even if only slightly. These areusually software based on Lean management.
For us, without being exhaustive, we prefer and use GoogleDrive, Notion, Trello, Slack, Miro and Figma every day. All of these aresuitable for the three main criteria described above, which allow us to selectand manage our work on a PC, tablet or even smartphone.
